The Philosophy of Personal Identity in the Digital Age
This research project explores the philosophical dimensions of personal identity in the context of digital technologies. With the proliferation of social media, virtual reality, and artificial intelligence, traditional concepts of selfhood and personal continuity are being challenged and transformed. The project examines how digital platforms both construct and fragment our sense of self, and investigates the implications for philosophical theories of personal identity over time.
Research Interests:
My research interests include philosophy of mind, metaphysics of personal identity, digital ethics, phenomenology of technology, and the intersection of artificial intelligence with human consciousness and selfhood.
